SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT
Forest Digital expects its suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and other business partners to conduct business responsibly, lawfully, and ethically.
This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out minimum expectations for organizations that provide goods or services to Forest Digital.
1. Compliance with laws
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate, including laws related to labor, anti-discrimination, health and safety, anti-corruption, sanctions, export controls, tax, privacy, data protection, competition, and environmental matters.
2. Business integrity
Suppliers must:
prohibit bribery, corruption, kickbacks, extortion, and facilitation payments;
maintain accurate books, records, and business documentation;
avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them promptly;
compete fairly and comply with applicable competition laws;
not engage in fraud, deception, or misleading practices.
3. Labor and human rights
Suppliers must:
prohibit forced labor, bonded labor, and human trafficking;
prohibit child labor;
provide fair working conditions in line with applicable law;
respect freedom of association where protected by law;
provide equal opportunity and prohibit unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation;
comply with applicable wage, working-time, and employment laws.
4. Health and safety
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment and take reasonable steps to prevent workplace injuries, risks, and unsafe practices.
5. Information security and data protection
Suppliers handling Forest Digital information, client information, or personal data must:
implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures;
protect confidential information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss;
process personal data only on a lawful basis and in accordance with applicable data protection law;
promptly notify Forest Digital of actual or suspected security incidents or personal data breaches affecting Forest Digital data, in line with contractual requirements.
6. Confidentiality and intellectual property
Suppliers must respect confidentiality obligations and intellectual property rights, and use information only for authorized purposes.
7. Subcontracting and supply chain responsibility
Suppliers remain responsible for ensuring that their subcontractors and downstream partners involved in delivering goods or services to Forest Digital meet standards substantially equivalent to this Code.
8. Environmental and social responsibility
Suppliers should operate responsibly and seek to reduce avoidable environmental harm, waste, and resource inefficiency where relevant to their operations.
9. Cooperation and evidence of compliance
Forest Digital may request reasonable information confirming compliance with this Code, contractual commitments, legal obligations, or security requirements.
10. Reporting concerns
Suppliers should promptly report known or suspected violations of this Code or applicable law that may affect Forest Digital or its clients to info@forest-digital.com.
11. Consequences of non-compliance
Non-compliance with this Code may result in corrective action requests, suspension of cooperation, termination of business relationship, or other contractual or legal action, depending on the severity of the issue.
